🔹Regarding Religious Texts -

Jewish text isn't any better

"Deuteronomy 13:6-10 commands Israelites to execute anyone, even close family (brother, son, daughter, wife, friend), who secretly tries to entice them to worship other gods, emphasizing that loyalty to the one true God (Yahwah), the LORD, overrides all familial bonds, requiring the accuser to start the stoning to death of the idolater to demonstrate absolute rejection of apostasy."

It's just going to turn into whataboutism, if we started to accuse people's action based on what written in religious text. There is just shit in religious texts.

🔹Regarding Humus

* For over a decade, Israel facilitated the transfer of 10's of millions of dollars of funds from Qatar to Hamas as a method of ensuring that Gaza and the West Bank would remain under separate governing authorities.

 * Public Admissions: In a March 2019 Likud party meeting, Netanyahu reportedly stated: "Anyone who wants to thwart the establishment of a Palestinian state has to support bolstering Hamas and transferring money to Hamas. This is part of our strategy—to isolate the Palestinians in Gaza from the Palestinians in the West Bank." (Source: The Times of Israel, Jerusalem Post).

*The "Suitcases of Cash" (2018–2023):

From 2018 onwards, Netanyahu’s cabinet approved the transfer of millions of dollars in cash from Qatar into Gaza via the Erez Crossing. These funds were intended for salaries and humanitarian aid but were widely criticized for strengthening Hamas's grip on the territory. (Source: CBC News, +972 Magazine).

 * Security Warnings: In 2019, then-Shin Bet chief Nadav Argaman reportedly warned Netanyahu that these funds were being diverted to Hamas's military wing. Despite these warnings, the policy continued as part of a strategy to keep the Palestinian leadership divided. (Source: Times of Israel - 2025 Report).

* Israel provided discreet support to Hamas (originally the Muslim Brotherhood) in the 1970s and 80s as a strategic move to weaken the secular Palestine Liberation Organization (PLO).

* Israel initially supported Sheikh Ahmed Yassin, the founder of Hamas, during the 1970s and 1980s as a counterweight to the secular, nationalistic PLO. This included aiding a network of mosques, schools, and clubs.

* Israel helped create Hamas to undermine the PLO

In the 1970s and 80s, Israel’s military government in Gaza viewed the secular, nationalist PLO (led by Yasser Arafat) as its primary enemy. To weaken the PLO, Israel allowed and even encouraged the growth of the Muslim Brotherhood and its precursor organization, Mujama al-Islamiya, founded by Sheikh Ahmed Yassin. The strategy was "divide and rule"—playing religious Islamists against secular nationalists.

* Israel funded and officially recognized the precursor to Hamas

In 1978, the Israeli government officially registered Sheikh Yassin’s Mujama al-Islamiya as a charity. This status allowed the group to build a massive network of clinics, schools, and mosques. Brigadier General Yitzhak Segev, a former Israeli military governor in Gaza, later told the New York Times that the Israeli government gave him a budget to fund these mosques as a counterweight to the PLO.

* Israeli officials warned about this strategy

Avner Cohen, a former Israeli official for religious affairs in Gaza, wrote an official report in the mid-1980s warning his superiors against the "divide and rule" policy. He later stated to the Wall Street Journal: "Hamas, to my great regret, is Israel's creation."

Colonel David Hakam, a former Arab affairs expert for the Israeli military, also referred to the support for Yassin as an "original sin," though he noted that officials at the time did not foresee the eventual violent "blowback.

* Hamas was founded in 1987 at the start of the First Intifada

While the organizational roots began in the 1970s, the group officially adopted the name Hamas (an acronym for Harakat al-Muqawama al-Islamiya) in 1987 to take a more militant and nationalist stance during the Palestinian uprising.

🔹Start -

Israel began its occupation of Palestinian territories, including the West Bank and Gaza Strip, primarily following the June 1967 Six-Day War. UN Security Council, considers this occupation a violation, as international law prohibits the acquisition of territory by force, even in self-defense.

Them claiming that we're doing this for our safety is just a colonial excuse

FYI, it's not that anyone like Humus either.
